The ACE English Project has been created to provide an affordable, effective way to develop English fluency. These lessons help people who want to improve their spoken English ability. Many people can read and understand English text but struggle to speak it fluently since they have had little chance to practice speaking. These lessons will improve speaking and listening ability.
The material for these lessons was developed by linguistic professionals at the Seido Language Institute in Ashiya, Japan. They have generously provided the material which a small team at the ACE English Project is digitizing and putting up on the Intenet. These first basic lessons were originally developed for Japanese hishschools. There are additional intermediate and advanced lessons and other material that are currently under development.
The ACE English project is distributing these basic lessons, along with a series of childrens' songs and pair work exercises as a complete spoken English curriculum for schools. These lessons, songs and pairwork exercises come on a USB stick that runs on a Windows computer. No Internet connection is needed and there are no per student fees or additional costs. These lessons are being used by schools and companies as an affordable addition to their existing programs. For more information about the USB version, please visit the ACE English Box website. www.aceenglishbox.com
